When will my order be delivered?

We strive to ensure that all fabric and packaged orders are despatched within 5 working days meaning you should expect your order to arrive within 6 working days.

Custom made curtains, blinds and ready made curtains that are being altered tend to take between two to three weeks to complete.





What are the delivery options available and charges?

Fedex express delivery

Curtainfabricsonline.com's uk delivery is simple, if your order weighs less than 1kg then the delivery charge is £2.99. Over 1kg and the delivery charge is £6.99 and delivery is always free on orders over £40 regardless of weight.




Delivery to Northern Ireland, Scottish Isles, some of the Scottish Highlands and offshore Islands are the same cost as mainland UK but will be despatched as Royal Mail standard parcels rather than Fedex so please allow 6 working days for goods to be delivered to these delivery regions.




Where do you deliver?

We deliver to the mainland UK and the following areas:

What happens if I have not been available to receive delivery or have received a calling card?

If you are not in when the courier tries to deliver your goods, then they will leave a card with stating a consignment number and the telephone number of your local depot. They will normally try 2 times to deliver the item and then hold the item for a week before returning it. If the item is returned there will be a £10 re-sending fee. If the item is rejected there will be a £20 charge.







My order has been returned to curtainfabricsonline.com, how do I get it sent again?

You will need to re-order your goods as your order will be cancelled when it is returned to us by the courier.

You need to click here to contact us with your original order number for your refund to be issued, however you will be charged the cost of return which is £15 for the fist 10kg and 48p per kilo after.





Does curtainfabricsonline.com use recycled packaging?

If you believe we have delivered the wrong product please open the box first because we may of used recycled packaging. Due to the high volumes of goods received into the distribution centre smaller goods are generally package together this saves on packaging and helps the environment.





If I am not at home when my goods are delivered will they just leave the parcel?

The couriers should never leave goods without a signature.

However if you leave a signed note explaining that the order can be left in a specific location, the driver can take this away and the goods can be left where you choose, this however is done at your own risk. Also, will check to see if a neighbour is at home and leave the parcel with them.





Can I redirect my order somewhere else after I have placed my order?

Once the order is in transit we can re-direct your delivery for a cost of £10.

Can I have my order delivered to an alternative address?

You can order goods to an alternative delivery address, however please make sure that the billing address you supply is where the card you are using is registered. 

Please note: If your order has been processed/dispatched, there will be a charge of £10.00 to change the address.





Saturday Delivery

At present curtainfabricsonline.com cannot offer a saturday delivery service.





The stock delivery dates on my order keeps changing, why?

This normally only affects manufacturer despatched items, if your order has been affected please accept our sincere apologies and please be assured that our buying department is doing their utmost to rectify the problem. The problem can be caused by many factors the most common are: the goods are awaiting release by customs at the docks. The manufacturers have missed their booking in date or we have been supplied the incorrect pre-order date.

If you have placed an order and are unable to continue to wait please contact us and we will be happy to suggest a different product / colour or happy to issue you with a refund.

It's also worth knowing that if curtainfabricsonline.com is out of stock then other UK suppliers are also likely to be out of stock simply because all the stock comes from the same source and therefore everyone tends to be affected.



My parcel shows signed for but I have not received it, why?

Please check with your neighbours to make sure that they have not signed for it. Then click here to contact us immediately where we have a set procedure in place.

When customers report that they have not received their goods, the first thing we do is check the delivery records with Fedex. We ask the delivery company to provide a proof of delivery (POD), which means the time and date they delivered the goods(s), together with the name of the person who signed for it.

We will then be in contact to resolve the matter as soon as possible.





Which delivery company do you use?

Deliveries directly from our warehouses are carried out by either Fedex or the Royal mail

When we send goods directly from our supplier/manufacturer then the delivery company used will be the one used by the supplier/manufacturer in question. .




What happens if I input the wrong delivery address?

If you provide us with a wrong delivery address and your goods are signed for by another party, curtainfabricsonline.com cannot be held responsible for any loss you incur as a result.

Furthermore due to online fraud we cannot redirect any orders that have already been placed and are on route.

Please make sure that you input the correct address when placing your order.





What are the delivery charges for orders to the rest of the world

The shipping rates to UK address are £2.99 for items under 1kg and £6.99 for items over 1kg. Delivery charges to the rest of the world are also based on the weight of the item. Once you have added the items to your cart and completed the delivery details the website will calculate a price and ask for your conformation before it continues to the payment pages.

 

 





Can I collect from you?

If you order from curtainfabricsonline.com your goods will have to be delivered. We do hold a large percentage of our stock in our Reading warehouses but we do also have many products that are despatched on our behalf directly from the manufactures.



Will my order be dispatched together?

It is sometimes possible for us to oversell items and under these conditions we may send you part of your order with a balance to follow. No additional carriage charges will be made as a result of this.

However generally your order will be dispatched together, if there are any problems you will be contacted.





Do you deliver to Ireland?

Yes we do deliver to both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Delivery cost is £7.50 for items up to 1kg and a flat rate of £15.50 for items of 1kg to 30kgs to the Republic. Northern ireland is considered to be the same delivery charges as the rest of the UK though the items will be sent royal mail standard parcel rather than Fedex. Delivery for both Northern and the Republic of Ireland takes up to 6 working days.

 





Do you deliver to a PO Box address?

Unfortunately we do not offer delivery to PO Box addresses.
